An Introductory Workshop and Refresher on Centering Prayer

Whether you are new to Centering Prayer or a long time practitioner in need of a refresher course, please join us on June 13!
The deepest hunger of our lives is for communion with the living God. And yet in our daily busy lives, and with the constant demand upon our time, space for God and for the spiritual journey have become a hope, not a reality. How do we find rest for our souls, bread for the journey of life?
During this Introductory Workshop, you will reflect on the nature of prayer as relationship with God, and explore the levels of relationship that you can grow into. You will learn and practice Centering Prayer as a way of contemplation - being guided by the Spirit beyond thoughts, words and emotions. And you will rest in the interior silence which is the root of all prayer.
There will be a follow up to this Introductory Workshop on Saturday July 18, providing time and space to practice further, and share our reflections, experiences, and questions.
