2024 Maternal Health Awareness

Interprofessional Seminars on

Maternal Health and Safety

In conjunction with Maternal Health Awareness Day in New Jersey -- the first state to formally recognize maternal health, safety and mortality issues with an annual event -- Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is partnering with RWJBarnabas Health, the Central Jersey Family Health Consortium, The Tara Hansen Foundation, New Jersey Black Women Physicians Association, the New Jersey Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the New Jersey Section of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the New Jersey Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and the New Jersey Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to host an interprofessional education series for all individuals involved in women's health and maternity care.


In addition, for the first time, the event will include abstract poster presentations on women's health issues.

All sessions will be held in person as well as virtually! Join us in New Brunswick to participate live, or log in from the convenience of your computer or smartphone.
