The Michigan State University U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) University Center for Regional Economic
Innovation (REI) would like to thank all who submitted proposals or expressed interest in the Co-Learning Plan and Innovation Fellowship opportunities for the 2025 cycle. Your contributions play a vital role in advancing Michigan’s economic resilience and fostering innovative solutions in distressed communities.
While the deadline for Co-Learning Plan and Innovation Fellowship submissions has now passed, we encourage those who may have missed this opportunity to start planning for the next cycle. REI remains committed to collaborating with practitioners, scholars, and community leaders to drive innovation and impact across Michigan. Stay tuned for updates and announcements on the 2025 awardees, next month.
In the meantime, Student-Led, Faculty-Guided Projects are still being funded. These projects provide Michigan communities with technical assistance while offering students valuable hands-on experience in economic development. If you are interested in pursuing a Student-Led, Faculty-Guided Project, we encourage you to submit your application soon.
For updates, resources, and details on upcoming opportunities, please visit reicenter.org. If you have further questions or would like to stay connected, please reach out to Jenan Jondy at jondyjen@msu.edu.
Thank you for your commitment to strengthening Michigan’s economy through collaboration and innovation. Together, we continue to build a brighter future for communities across the state.
