Save the Date:

Delta Invasive Species Symposium

The San Francisco Bay-Delta's ecosystem is one of the world's most invaded estuaries.

In response, the Delta Interagency Invasive Species Coordination Team invites you to attend its fifth biennial Delta Invasive Species Symposium, which will focus on making connections to understand connectivity in an invaded estuary.

The Symposium will take place on November 30, 2023, at the California Natural Resources Agency (715 P Street, Sacramento, CA, 95814), and will be livestreamed via Zoom. The Symposium will be free to attend and open to those interested in the impacts of invasive species in the Bay-Delta.

Stay tuned for registration information.

Don't miss the Delta Independent Science Board's review, published in 2021.

Previous Delta Invasive Species Symposiums focused on aquatic vegetation, tools and actions for management, remote sensing, and early detection and rapid response. Learn more about past symposiums on the Delta Conservancy's web page.

The Delta Interagency Species Coordination Team seeks to foster communication and collaboration among state and federal agencies, research and conservation groups, and others with stake in the Delta that detect, prevent, study, and manage invasive species and restore invaded habitats.
