Worship Online Sunday @ 8:15 or 10:45 AM
New month, new sermon series!
This Sunday, Pastor Joshua kicks off a new sermon series: After the Wilderness. This week’s lesson comes from the Israelites' construction of a memorial that would serve as a reminder of the lessons they learned in the wilderness.

During this week’s services there will also be a designated time for participating in communion together. If possible, please have some bread or crackers and juice ready.

Traditional Service starts at 8:15
Contemporary Service begins at 10:45
(With a special treat from our Kids!)

Mark your calendars for June 21 & worship with us IN PERSON!
After almost three months apart, we are excited to share that our doors will re-open for in-person worship services Sunday, June 21! We will have our Traditional Worship Service at 8:15 in the sanctuary, followed by our 10:45 Traditional Service in the gym.

As we begin this initial phase of re-opening, the church campus will only be utilized for Sunday morning worship services. We will not yet be able to offer childcare during worship, children/youth classes or Sunday School. This measure is to ensure the safety of all guests by limiting gatherings to the largest spaces in the church where adequate provisions can be made for distancing, traffic flows and proper sanitation between events. All other groups and classes will be encouraged to continue meeting virtually while ongoing assessments continue throughout the summer. If you have small children and typically use childcare, or are in one of the high-risk categories and don’t feel comfortable worshiping in person, we will continue to live stream both services on our Facebook page and at HFUMC.org/online

We will be sharing a detailed guide, along with a video highlighting what you can expect, in the coming week. In the meantime, we want to say THANK YOU for your patience, for your prayers, and for sharing your feedback in our Return to Worship survey. Your input has been very helpful.
New Online Studies Begin this Week
Two new, online summer studies will begin this week. “The Gospel of Mark” led by Pastor Joshua will begin this Tuesday at 7pm (zoom ID 869-8479-7604), and “The Apostles and Nicene Creeds” led by Ted Brown will begin Thursday at 7pm (zoom ID 849-7188-8118). Both studies will include weekly stand alone sessions, and new participants are always welcome!

Also, be sure to bookmark our online events calendar. It’s a great resource for all of the weekly church offerings – everything from online Bible story readings to virtual groups for study and support. Visit hfumc.org/calendar for a list of events.
