Ottawa is Open for Business
We were pleased to support Ottawa is Open along with our partners at Invest Ottawa and Ottawa Tourism, hosted by Canderel in the lobby of newly renovated Constitution Square. Wednesday’s event was a beautiful example of how the business community can come together to animate an unusual space and create vibrancy and raise over $17,000 for the Shepherds of Good Hope.
We know that city building plays a critical role in our quality of life and the success of our businesses. The board of trade is focused on an affordable, inclusive, and sustainable Ottawa. And that includes a vibrant and diverse downtown.This requires collaboration and the engagement of the whole community.

2023 City of Ottawa Employment Survey
The City of Ottawa is doing a city-wide employment survey. A team of students will be going to businesses throughout the summer and will be collecting survey data from May 8th to August 31st. The information collected will be part of the City of Ottawa’s employment database and will provide valuable information on the employment opportunities and helps with future planning and support for businesses in our city.
