IHRD Screening: Remember This

Dear Friends,

Mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day with your Boston Jewish Community. Join us for a screening of the multi-award-winning Remember This, a riveting film about Jan Karski's bravery as a spokesperson for the Warsaw Ghetto to the western world. Karski, a Roman Catholic, joined the Polish resistance movement to convince western governments to prevent the destruction of Polish Jewry.

Families are encouraged to attend; the film is appropriate for ages 14+.

After the screening, stay for a talkback with Facing History and Ourselves and a live performance of the music of Polish composer Miecyzslaw Weinberg.

This program is presented in partnership with Facing History and Ourselves, Boston Jewish Film, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston, Boston’s 3G and the American Association of Jewish Holocaust Survivors of Boston.
