SAVE THE DATE: ORACLE REBOOT CAMP #3
Creating High-Value Reports
9-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13
Dr. Vikram and Priya Lakireddy Grand Ballroom, Conference Center

You are invited to join colleagues at the next Oracle Reboot Camp, hosted and facilitated by the Division of Finance and Administration. Attendees will learn how to generate reports from the Oracle financial management system that effectively communicates data and trends to your teams.

The Reboot Camp will include:

  • Providing high-level reporting tools in Excel using data from the Oracle interface (what functions do you need to know?)
  • Addressing your questions

In preparation for the session, please complete this brief survey about what types of reports are important to you. You also can upload reports you have found useful. Even if you are unable to attend the session, please take a few minutes to complete the survey; your feedback is valuable.

Creating reports requires a working level of proficiency in Excel, along with an up-to-date desktop version of Microsoft Office. Attendees who can benefit from Excel training are strongly encouraged to prepare for the Reboot Camp by taking advantage of LinkedIn Learning videos, which are free to access. The Excel Learning Path lists training appropriate for various knowledge levels, from Excel essentials to advanced formulas and functions. Choose the training that fits your needs.

Prior to the Reboot Camp, make sure you have Smart View installed (here’s a how-to guide) and check your level of access in Oracle. Be sure your laptop is charged and ready for the two-hour session. This is an in-person event. There will be no call-in or Zoom-based attendance.

Coffee and continental breakfast will be provided.

We will send invitations from DFA’s email account. Please respond to the invitations by Tuesday, Oct. 11 so we can gauge the number of attendees.

Thank you for playing an important role in the shared effort to improve the user experience in the Oracle system. We look forward to seeing you Oct. 13!
