The reimagined Kaleideum is opening its doors to the public on February 17! Step into a world where — like the movement of a kaleidoscope — every twist and turn reveals new surprises and possibilities. Kaleideum is the place where FUN and LEARNING Collide in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem.

Kaleideum’s Grand Opening is sponsored by Triad Kids Dental and in partnership with PreK Priority. Buy/reserve your ticket online starting February 1. If you are a member, please reserve your ticket online to ensure admittance the day of the Grand Opening. Museums for All tickets will be available at the Welcome Desk the day of the event.

Embark on a journey into boundless creativity at the Try It! Studio. Engineer your dream roller coaster, capture kinetic movement, build a race car, or ride a bike in the In Motion exhibit. Explore the three phases of water in the Wonders of Water. There is all this and more in a space where you can Imagine, try, fail, modify, hack, iterate, collaborate, invent, create, and most importantly, just have fun!

It's time to get your new membership to Kaleideum — where lifelong learning collides with discovery at a brand-new location in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem.

Buy your membership now, and you'll have early access to the museum on February 15 and 16 before we open to the public on February 17. In addition, starting April 1, we're bringing back Members Only Mondays from 9 am to Noon.

Take a Virtual Walk through the Reimagined Kaleideum

The kaleidoscopic adventure continues with a sensory pathway mural adorning the side of the museum along Town Run Lane.

Be part of the art and enhance the project with your contribution of a commemorative tile. Each 4” x 10” colorful tile is only $250 and will help build a future where LEARNING and FUN collide.
