WinterFEST 2022
Save the date for WinterFEST! This outside experience will take place on February 12 at the Hyde Community Center Playground and on February 13 at Cold Spring Park and on the Newton Centre Green. Enjoy live entertainment, ice sculptures with a live demonstration, a winter walk, lights, a winter pop-up market, treats and a visit from some special guests. All events are free and open to all!
Arts Scholarship Program
Newton Community Pride is pleased to announce our inaugural high school scholarship program for students pursuing the arts in higher education. We are awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a Newton South High School senior, Newton North High School senior and a METCO Student attending either NNHS or NSHS.

Join your neighbors and friends and register  bit.ly/newtonmlk22 to celebrate together at the 54th Annual Community Celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 17, 2022 at 9:30 AM. This event will be a webinar and live streamed from Newton North High School.

In addition, please join LWVN's  book club discussion of Dr. King's "Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community" on Sun., Jan. 9th. If you are unable to read the whole book and perhaps can only familiarize yourself with it, please still consider participating!

Want to do more? The Rotary Club is holding a Food Drive to benefit Newton's 3 food pantries and will take place January 10-15th. More information and event details can be found at newtonma.gov/mlk22.
