Save the Dates for OLLI's Summer Speakers Series

This free, public speakers series will let you sample topics and instructors who may be new to you, as well as introduce non-member friends and family to the rich OLLI at SOU curriculum. These four programs will be delivered via Zoom for convenient access from anywhere.

Lifelong Learning Series Highlights Synergy

The most recent installment in the lifelong learning newspaper series highlights the benefits of this spring's collaboration between the Jackson County Master Gardener Association and OLLI to bring a course on vegetable gardening to OLLI members and spread the word about the many resources that the Association makes available to local gardeners. Free Lifelong Learning Opportunities

Southern Oregon University joins the Make Music Day celebration with This Moment In Time, a performance by percussionist Terry Longshore, Monday, June 21, 12:00 – 1:00 PM PDT, in person at the Thalden Pavilion. Make Music Day is a one-day event where free, live musical performances, opportunities to make music, and other musical events take place around the world on the longest day of the year. SOU's Oregon Center for the Arts will host an Art Beyond discussion with Artists Alyse Emdur and Michael Parker. Thursday, June 24, 12:30 – 1:30 PM PDT. Details here.

Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument continue their "Inspiring Connections with Nature" lecture series with a presentation by the Beaver Coalition on Thursday, June 24, 6:00 – 7:30 PM PDT. Click here to learn more and register.
