Don't miss the 52nd Annual Art in the Park festival!

Over 60 artists are expected at this free event. Come and enjoy fine arts and crafts created by local artists, along with live music, food trucks and beverages including wine and beer.

“This is a great public arts event, a wonderful opportunity for local artists, and it also benefits local schools. And this year, we’re so happy to welcome Roy Jeans as our emcee for the day. Roy is the founder of Armando’s, a very popular music venue in Martinez that was open for many years! It should be a lot of fun!” says Dorrie Langley, MAA President and event coordinator.

The live music line-up includes Painted Wind, Savage Bond Band, The UnConcord, Sin Silver & The Avenue, and The Landbirds.

Don’t miss this year’s silent auction that raises money to support the arts in Martinez schools. Local artists will create and donate items for the silent auction.

The park is shady and lots of seating will be available. Also there is plenty of free parking in downtown Martinez with a golf cart shuttle from the Farmer’s Market area at the Starbucks plaza on Main Street.

Art in the Park is the MAA’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Founded in 1968 as a nonprofit organization, the MAA organizes and participates in many community events throughout the year. Our goal is to encourage art culture and education for local youth. Fundraising proceeds provide scholarships to graduating seniors as well as art grants for elementary through high school teachers.
