15th Annual Conference on Victim Notification
April 28th, 2022
The 15th Annual Statewide Conference on Victim Notification will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Desmond Crown Plaza Hotel on Albany Shaker Road in Albany, NY. Hosted by the NYS Sheriffs’ Institute, the conference takes place each year during National Crime Victims Rights’ Week. This year’s NCVRW theme is: Rights, access, equity, for all victims.

Victim advocates and law enforcement officials gain a national perspective on Crime Victim Services, network with State and National Leaders in the fields of Criminal Justice and Victim Services and learn about the latest advancements in victim notification services, including the Inmate Release (powered by VINE®) and the Order of Protection Notification Programs.

The notification programs, administered by the Sheriffs’ Institute, allows crime victims to learn the custody status of an offender or service of orders of protection, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Victims also can register to be notified if an offender custody status changes.

The cost to attend this year's conference will be $85.00 which will be payable to the New York State Sheriffs' Institute. Checks or vouchers can be mailed to:
