“This project will benefit the hundreds of singers, actors, dancers, and instrumentalists in our midst by providing a state-of-the-art performance venue where our talented students can showcase their learning.”
Jennifer Escovar, Choral Director
“The band, choir, and theater programs have to share a single cinder block room with nowhere to safely store equipment. The new Performing Arts Center will provide the band with a much needed facility that has proper acoustics and ample space to store instruments.”
Nick Pulido, Band Director
“The Performing Arts Center will definitely be an asset to the theatre program because we can now have performances in a venue on campus that will have sufficient lighting, sound, backstage and seating needs.”
Carol Busser, Theater Director
"Currently, most school events take place in the gym and, therefore, have to be scheduled around athletic contests and practices. With the addition of the new center, all Bishop Amat students will benefit from having a venue designated for school assemblies and performances.”
