Greetings!

Next week, we will gather to celebrate an incredible group of young leaders at our 2026 Youth of the Year Ceremony! This prestigious honor recognizes Boys & Girls Club members who have shown outstanding leadership, service, and resilience.

We are thrilled to introduce this year’s 7 exceptional contestants - each of whom embodies the heart, dedication, and spirit of the Boys & Girls Club. From the Harriet H. Samuelsson Teen Center, we have Leonel Rojas (17), Luiza Madrigal (18), Gisselle Calderon (14), and Jaymie Lopez (18). Representing the Reiter Family Youth Center are Hitantiva Ramirez (18) and Michelle Rodriguez (17), and from the Port Hueneme Teen Center, Selena Soto (14).

These young leaders have grown through our programs, taken initiative in their communities, and inspired others through their creativity, compassion, and perseverance.

The ceremony will take place next week, and we encourage everyone to cheer on these amazing young leaders as they share their stories and celebrate their achievements.

Stay tuned for the announcement of our 2026 Youth of the Year, who will go on to represent BGCOP at the California Coastal Youth of the Year competition.
