We look forward to welcoming BBF Regional Council and State Advisory Council for a virtual assembly to address challenges to equitable access for children and families. The convening will be on Monday, October 26th from 1:00– 3:00 pm. Objectives for this meeting include:

  • Early childhood providers share stories about challenges to access, inclusion and how systemic racism and discrimination impact their ability to serve children and families.
  • Explore where there is inequitable access for particular populations and impact on children and families.
  • Build a sense of collective action across regional and state early childhood leaders.
  • Presentation of the Early Childhood Systems Needs Assessment Report and updated Early Childhood Action Plan.

This annual event is a critical opportunity in our work to achieve a unified early childhood system where state, private, and community partners are working together with a shared vision, shared action, and shared accountability.
