Greetings!

Saving lives and changing lives is not just a slogan. Students are attending school, moms are cooking in smoke free kitchens and communities are building schools. Over 800 patient visits are logged at our health centers each month. Every week Dr. Garcia and Dr. Sagastume treat critically ill patients. We provide assistance for diagnostic tests, consultations, cancer treatments and surgeries.

Your generosity means thousands of people in rural Guatemala will thrive. Continuing this work depends on you, our friends and donors. There is always more to do and we need your help.
THANK YOU

Kind regards,

Did you know?
In Guatemala only 18% attend high school.
We are changing that statistic!

KEEPING KIDS IN SCHOOL
CHANGES LIVES

Poverty is the major barrier to secondary education. Kids want to go to school, want to learn, and want a better future. They are denied an education because they were born into poverty.

This month 9 of our scholarship students received high school diplomas and 1 student graduated from the university. They are the first in their families to graduate. High school grad Maynor said "Now I know we can achieve our dreams through hard work and thanks to my scholarship I earned a diploma."

What plans do they have for the future? They want to be the first in their family and the first in their village to graduate from college. They will work hard to achieve their goals.

You can be a partner for education.

For only $600 a student can attend
junior high school
For only $800 you can support a student
in high school
For only $1,700 you can help a young
adult attend college
SAVING LIVES
Healthy families can thrive.
Medical care doesn't exist in many remote villages. Parents have no options when their kids are sick - they do not have money to seek a doctor's care.

To ensure kids are healthy and don't have to suffer when they're sick, they are treated free at our health centers.

Mom's tell us how grateful they are to have a health clinic where the people living in remote villages can be treated by professional doctors and receive quality medicine. Adults are charged only Q20 or about $3.50.

Families can thrive when they are healthy.

Please make a contribution to our
health program today.
