We are thrilled to announce that LICADD has appointed Chris Kelly, M.A. as our new Executive Director. He began on January 5th.

Chris brings senior leadership experience in behavioral health, healthcare, and human services, including roles as Assistant Executive Director at Episcopal Health Services and Director of Development at EAC Network. A native Long Islander, he holds a Master’s Degree in Government and Politics, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from St. John’s University, and an Executive Education Certificate from Fordham University’s Center for Nonprofit Leaders.

In partnership with LICADD’s licensed clinical leadership, led by Program Director Adam Birkenstock, LCSW, Chris will oversee strategic partnerships and advance the organization's mission.

“I am honored to return to LICADD, which was instrumental in shaping my early career,” said Chris. “I feel fortunate to once again work alongside a passionate, mission-driven Board of Directors as we enter LICADD’s 70th year. Together with our licensed clinical staff and community partners, there is much to look forward to as we continue supporting Long Island families and communities through trust, collaboration, and meaningful impact.”
