As you may have heard, Peotone airport supporters are back on the grid requesting $150 million in funding from Gov. J.B. Pritzker's office. As our supporters, you know that Illinois already has a third airport - RFD - which has been creating economic development opportunities and jobs for more than 20 years in our region.
We will be working
with local and state officials to advocate for RFD and to put an end to the Peotone noise once and for all, but we need your help too. Please contact the Governor's office on our behalf and say "NO to Peotone Airport."
Below is a copy of a letter RFD Executive Director Mike Dunn will be sending to local media outlets and other stakeholders. The letter contains more detail on the latest Peotone push along with the facts on why RFD is the true third airport in Illinois.
