A Big Congratulations to Our Tiny Scholars

Earlier this month, we proudly celebrated our 45 graduates as they moved on from their Promoting Our Preschoolers (POP) learning program. These little minds are ready to take the world on by storm, starting with kindergarten!🎓

Huge thanks to our amazing and dedicated team who empowered these families and prepared our young learners for their next step, and to our generous funders who have made this all possible.

Hitting our Goals...Literally!

Ready for some fútbol? ⚽🥅 Come cheer on our local champions, FC Cincinnati, as they face off against Los Angeles FC for Noche Latina on September 28, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.

At this memorable match, the FCC community will be celebrating its diverse Hispanic heritage and commemorating the night with special tickets that include a limited-edition FCC hat, and a name submission into a drawing to win an exclusive spot on the sidelines to watch the pre-match warmups.

Sounds too good to be true? It gets even better, because for every ticket purchased, a portion of proceeds will be gifted back to Santa Maria to help support our program initiatives!

The festivities will also include a pregame celebration at Washington Park in Over-The-Rhine where visitors can find traditional Hispanic food and music starting at 4 p.m.

Passport to Success: The Journey of Mental Health

Mark your calendars for Santa Maria Community Services’ annual fundraiser, "Passport to Success” on October 3, 2024, from 6-9 p.m. Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to exploring the journey of mental health and wellness within our community.

We’re thrilled to have David Da Silva, FC Cincinnati's Mental Performance Coach, as our special guest speaker. David will share his insights on mental health and offer valuable perspectives on resilience. Our guest emcee, local news personality Lauren Minor, will bring her warmth and enthusiasm to the night.

Enjoy an exciting auction and raffle with fantastic items, delicious food and drinks, and the chance to connect with friends and make new ones. This special night is more than a fundraiser—it's a celebration of community, resilience, and the journey to mental well-being.
