
In addition to candy (lots & lots of candy), there will be a city
fire truck parked in front of the Laramie Main Street office at 207 Grand Ave. for kids to explore as well as
carnival style games in the First Street Plaza at First & Grand Ave. coordinated by the LHS Choice Kids program. The Gem City Grand (Albany County Transportation Authority) will also be parked downtown at the First Street Plaza and will be handing out candy from their
decorated bus.
Participants: you are invited to bring a canned good or household item to the Laramie Main Street Alliance office, 207 Grand Ave. during Scaramie. The 3rd annual "Spooky Sprint" can drive is hosted in conjunction with Serve Wyoming and UW's Service, Leadership & Community Engagement (SL&CE) office. Canned donations will be distributed between the Laramie Soup Kitchen, Interfaith Good Samaritan and the SAFE Project of Laramie. Suggested items include: toiletry supplies for men and women, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, linens, tupperware, pots & pans, baking dishes, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, First Aid supplies, canned fruits & veggies, pasta, soups, peanut butter, rice, canned meat & salad dressings.
After Scaramie, head to the St. Laurence School Halloween Carnival, 608 South 4th Street and enjoy some ghoulish games, freaky fun and frightening food! Tickets sold at the door.
