I’m not a big football fan, but I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED a recent Dallas Cowboys game that was CRAAAAAAAAAAZY! It was the 4^th Quarter of the game and from the looks of it the Cowboys were going to lose the game. However, the game went into overtime and ultimately our Dallas Cowboys WON the game, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! Life lesson learned, NEVER GIVE UP, even if it’s the 4^th Quarter and last seconds of the game, NEVER GIVE UP! Therefore, my hometown team and “AMERICA’ TEAM” are the inspiration for the title of our October Newsletter, Optimistic October! As well, we are in the 4^th Quarter of 2025, whatever you are going thru in your life’s journey, always remain optimistic and again, NEVER GIVE UP! Always, always, I say ALWAAAAAAAAAAAAAYS remain optimistic, even if it APPEARS you’re losing, it’s not over until it’s over... So very appropriate as we acknowledge, honor, and support Breast Cancer Awareness in October & beyond. I’m sure everyone got something different from that game that applies to life, what I got out of that game was the power of one position, one person. “That Kicker” he kicked a 50+ yard field goal that kept the Dallas Cowboys in the game and then helped the Cowboys WIN the game at the VERRRRRRRRRY END of the game. He played his position and when the opportunities presented themselves, he was REAAAAADY! Of course, overall it was a team effort, BUT if that Kicker would have missed those two field goals it would not have ended in a WIN for the Cowboys, he made all the difference. If you have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer or any other diagnoses, NEVER GIVE UP and know you can WIN the battle with a team of many or JUST ONE. Just you & God are a majority, he’s “THE ONE” you do not want to go thru this battle without, LOOK UP, GOD IS BIGGGGGGGGGGGG! In your journey, he will work thru many or just ONE. For the one or many who have a close loved one, relative, friend, co-worker, etc. who’s been diagnosed with any illness, we’ve provided “Acts of Kindness for Patients” for you to review and consider as you go thru this journey with them. Most people are so overwhelmed by a diagnosis they may not want to ask you to do anything for them, therefore, you just have to do without being asked. If you see something in their world that needs to be done and they don’t have the strength or energy to do it, just do it. Whether it’s verbalized or not, EVERY act of kindness is appreciated, THANK YOU!
