Frozen ponds, lakes and rivers are an essential part of every winter scene. The ice in these features ranges from crystal clear to completely white or a mixture between the two. There may be chunks of ice floating in the water or cracks in the ice along the shore. The surface tends to be textured, but it can be glass smooth.
Color the water base and leave all water areas free of Flex Paste™ and Soft Flake Snow™. Pour the water product after all other landscaping materials have been installed.
Mix and pour Deep Pour Water™ into the prepared water cavity. Once it is poured, immediately begin sprinkling Soft Flake Snow into the Deep Pour Water. Cover the whole surface with Soft Flake Snow. Let it sink into the Deep Pour Water until the surface no longer looks snowy. It may take a few minutes.
Once the Soft Flake Snow has been immersed in the Deep Pour Water, add additional layers. Keep layering until you have achieved the desired effect. Less Soft Flake Snow will result in a glassy surface on the water. More will create a whitish, crystallized crust.
