BRUSH COLLECTION BEGINS APRIL 25
The village’s 2022 brush collection program will begin on Monday, April 25 and will offer two collection cycles for each zone until the program ends in September. The collection zones are rotated in the pickup schedule each year.

Residents are asked to follow the collection schedule shown above and listed on the village’s website. No appointments are necessary. This program is open to single family residences only; contractor-generated brush will not be collected.

Brush must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday of your scheduled week. Branches cannot have root material attached and are to be neatly placed curbside with the cut ends toward the street. LRS GARBAGE AND RECYCLING TRANSITION UPDATE
Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS), the village's new waste and recycling hauler beginning May 1, continues to drop off new waste and recycling carts to residents. Residents who do not receive their carts by Friday, April 29 or have questions about getting larger or smaller sized carts should contact LRS Customer Service at (844) 633-3577.

As a reminder, residents should not use the new LRS waste and recycling carts until May 1. Please continue to use the Republic Services carts through their final week of service next week (April 25-29). When waste and recycling collection occurs next week, please leave the old carts out after service for Republic to collect. While it may take more than one week for Republic to collect all of their carts, residents should continue to leave the old carts out curbside until they are collected.

For the latest information about the transition to the village's new waste and recycling hauler, including a link to access an interactive map of the new LRS 5-day service schedule (effective May 1), visit the village's website.
VILLAGE BOARD APPROVES EXPERIOR TRANSPORT PROJECT
At its April 12 meeting, the Schaumburg Village Board approved Experior Transport's use of the 55 acres of vacant property near the southwest corner of Irving Park and Rodenburg Roads. As part of the development, Experior will also construct a public access road and bike path through the property that connects the Schaumburg Metra Station to Rodenburg Road.

Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer. Once complete, the development is projected to create more than 200 jobs and generate more than $425,000 in annual tax revenue for the village.

For more information and updates on the Experior Transport project, visit the village's website or dial 311 in Schaumburg.
