SUBSCRIBE TO COMMUNITY SOLAR PROGRAM
Schaumburg’s Community Solar Program is supported by the village and administered by MC Squared (mc²) Energy Services. Residents and small business owners that subscribe to the program will be supporting clean energy generation in Illinois and save about $100 per year on the supply portion of their ComEd bill. All residential accounts and small commercial accounts with a peak demand of less than 100kW are eligible to participate. There is no enrollment fee and participants do not need to invest in solar panels for their rooftop.
If you participate in the village’s Electrical Aggregation Program, you must opt out of that program to participate. To opt out of the Electrical Aggregation Program, contact Eligo Energy at (847) 534-7509.
For more information about the Community Solar Program, visit the village's website, contact mc² at (833) 970-3552 or email mc². For questions, contact Martha Dooley or dial 311 in Schaumburg.
