SNOW COMMAND PREPARES FOR WINTER SEASON | |
The Engineering and Public Works Department held its annual Snow and Ice Luncheon last week to kick off the winter season. The department's snow and ice control preparations include classroom and equipment training sessions, and two days of truck cleaning and setup for winter operations. Throughout the morning of the luncheon, trucks were inspected by division supervisors and judged on how well the piece of equipment was cleaned and prepared for functionality. After each truck was inspected, supervisors met to discuss which employees stood out with their efforts in each class.
