UNITE INITIATIVE SHOWCASES INDIA
|
In May 2022, the village's VOICE Committee launched a culture and language education initiative called UNITE (Understanding our Neighbors Individuality Through Education). The UNITE initiative helps educate village employees so that we can gain a better understanding of the diverse people we serve.
In this video, Community Planner Parth Joshi and Police Auxiliary Officer Ravi Rajput share details about their Indian background and how their experiences and language skills allow them to proudly serve the Schaumburg community. Parth and Ravi exemplify the village's core values of customer service, teamwork, integrity, respect and trust.
