SCHAUMBURG COMMUNITY SOLAR PROGRAM LAUNCHES
A postcard was mailed to all village residents this week launching Schaumburg’s Community Solar Program. The program is supported by the village and administered by MC Squared Energy Services. Residents and small business owners who subscribe to the program will be supporting clean energy generation in Illinois and save about $100 per year on the supply portion of their ComEd bill. There is no enrollment fee and participants do not have to invest in solar panels on their rooftop.
If you participate in the village’s Electrical Aggregation Program, you must opt out of that program to participate in the Community Solar Program. To opt out or for more information about Schaumburg's Community Solar Program, visit the village's website.
