Work Begins at Wise Commons

Pulte Home Company is beginning work to redevelop the current Campanelli YMCA, located at 300 Wise Rd., into a residential subdivision to be called “Wise Commons.” The proposed subdivision will consist of fourteen 3-story buildings with 68 total townhomes. Demolition of the current structure on the 14.6-acre site is anticipated to begin this month. Once demolition is complete, site work such as grading and utility installation will begin, weather depending. Because the site includes approximately seven acres of wetlands on the north side of the property, the development will be located on the south side of the property to maintain the current natural landscaping. A full summary of the project and its supporting documentation can be found on the village's website
