Equifax is retiring their current credit report download process and moving it to the cloud: the Equifax ACRO System-to-System Full File Fixed XML Connection. This migration will require every credit union who uses Equifax to complete a custom setup process to continue to download credit reports.
If you have Equifax and do not complete this custom setup process, you will not be able to download Equifax credit reports after June 30, 2021.
Your Equifax representative should be able to guide you through this custom setup process. We can help you but cannot complete this for you because we do not have proper access to your system and the Equifax portal as needed to complete this custom setup for each Share One credit union.
Our development team is completing our part of the code changes within NewSolutions required for the Equifax ACRO Migration going live on June 30, 2021. We will update you when the programing is ready for testing.
All clients using Equifax will connect with their Equifax representative to establish a testing environment in the Equifax development portal. This will require you to set up their application for the appropriate API endpoints or credit report types.
Share One supported API credit report type endpoints include: MLA, Consumer Credit Report, and Prescreen of One, (soft pulls). This should be tested in a sandbox environment in the Equifax environment.
Hosted and Service Center Clients: Contact our Tech Services Department to establish the whitelisted IP addresses.

ACRO System-to-System Users
As part of our multi-cloud implementation, you’re invited to begin migrating your ACRO System-to-System (STS) full file fixed (FFF)/XML connection to the cloud – your access point for ACRO reports, scores, attributes, and other ancillary products. Once in the cloud, you’ll experience always-on connectivity, automated, encrypted security and more. Let’s get started.
Begin your organization’s ACRO migration with just a few steps:
• Forward this notice to the relevant development team in your organization
• Request developers* to register and login to developer.equifax.com.
• Use the exclusive partner access code below to begin your planning:
• Complete the development change before June, 2021
Once logged in, select the API Products tab and choose Legacy System-to-System Reports API. You’ll leverage our sandbox and test environments prior to directing traffic to production which will then ultimately integrate to the new ACRO API. Please complete this development change before June, 2021 to avoid a potential service interruption.
You also have the option to move to the new industry standard JSON format for consumption of our credit report. This can be run in parallel and is available for early adopters. New JSON products and services will be added regularly. To learn more about our developer center, watch this short video.
We have experts to help you navigate this change. If needed, please contact our ACRO Transformation Office at 1-888-407-0359 (choose option 2, then option 5 when prompted) or via email. For the fastest response please reference ACRO Migration in any communication related to this migration.
