Dear Families,

You are receiving this notification because you have a student in grade 9 or 10 at CSArts-SGV. Testing week for grades 11 and 12 is coming up, taking place Monday, April 5 - Friday, April 9.

We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with some details regarding the schedule for all freshman and sophomore students while our junior and senior students participate in state testing.

From Monday, April 5 - Friday, April 9:
  • There will be no conservatory classes.
  • In place of conservatory classes, all grade 9 and 10 students will be given a link to a Google Meet room they must log in to daily for attendance purposes.
  • The daily activities that students in grades 9 and 10 can expect to participate in are:
  • Social-emotional seminars
  • ELA and math benchmark assessments (this data will help us to plan additional support and enrichment classes for the 2021-2022 school year)
  • Time management and executive functioning seminars
  • Financial literacy seminars

The daily links that students will use to sign in with will be sent out on the last day of Spring Break, Friday, April 2. We will also provide a Google Meet room for students who are having trouble accessing the correct links. The link to this room will be sent in the Friday, April 2 communication as well.

If you have any questions regarding the upcoming testing week schedule, please reach out to Assistant Principal Courtney Miller at [email protected].

Warmest wishes,
