THURSDAY FOLDER
News & Information for Meadow Ridge Elementary
5/4/17
Notes from the Principal
Hello Meadow Ridge Families,

We are finished with the MCA testing in the building!  That is a big milestone in the school year, and now teachers concentrate on the standards that are remaining, making sure we are taking full advantage of the weeks we have left.  Some grade levels are planning field trips or other activities to supplement and celebrate the learning we have done.  We hope for good weather as our students venture out to different places across the metro.

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we will celebrate our fantastic staff with the help of the PTO.  Teachers worked incredibly hard to make sure this school year went smoothly.  They displayed incredible flexibility and openness as we focused on creating the Meadow Ridge community.  Each staff member brought a gift and talent to the whole.  I am so proud and honored to have had this experience with them.  Please continue to read this email to find out small ways you can say thank you to them next week.

We Are Meadow Ridge,

Karen

Wayzata Music Survey For Parents
We're committed to academic success in Wayzata Public Schools, and we know that creating a positive school experience for your children stretches far beyond the classroom. We want to ensure we're helping our students explore their interest in music and giving them the opportunity to perform. That's why we're conducting a district-wide parent survey to understand how well our music program meets your expectations. Please participate in the survey to rate the program, share your satisfaction with our offerings, and tell us how engaged your child is in music.

On Tuesday, April 25, you'll receive an email invitation and survey link from independent research and communications firm K12
Insight . You have through Tuesday, May 9  to share your feedback.

We've partnered with K12
Insight  to administer the survey and compile the results. All responses are strictly confidential. No one in the district will know if you participate or be able to connect you to your answers.

As parents, you're in the best position to tell us what's working in our music program and what we could do better. Your feedback will help us improve our program for current and future Wayzata musicians.

Thank you for your continued involvement in our school district and your commitment to your school.
