SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Apply for the Voyager Scholarship!
Application deadline is June 14th.

This scholarship for 4-year college students finishing up their sophomore year in Spring 2022 or transferring from a 2-year to a 4-year college for their junior year in 2022-23.

Here's what you can get:
  • Up to $50,000 in financial aid for junior and senior year
  • $10,000 stipend + free Airbnb housing for summer work-travel between junior and senior year
  • $2,000 travel credit every year for 10 years after graduation
  • Fall summit where recipients meet President Obama

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES
Jun. 27th

Did you apply for SYEP? The program starts on 6/27. Make sure you go to your SYEP portal and ensure you've completed all steps. If not, call SYEP at 202-698-3492 to get help!
Aug. 19th

The DC Tuition Aid Grant (DC TAG) opened on 2/1. Make sure you apply ASAP for this grant for which you can receive up to $10k for college. Remember, you have to reapply every year.
Aug. 19th

Complete the FAFSA for school year 2022-2023! Remember, you have to re-apply every year to qualify for federal financial aid. Reach out to Ms. Smith if you need support!
