ENROLLMENT AND HOUSING DEPOSITS

When completing enrollment, one thing that students will see on their account is an enrollment deposit.

For students attending ASU, NAU, and UA, the enrollment deposits can be deferred to be paid from financial aid in the fall. Selecting that option (deferring payment) will allow students to be able to continue with the enrollment process and select on-campus housing, if desired.

For students attending NAU and Yavapai College, the housing application fees ($100 for NAU, $200 for Yavapai College) cannot be deferred to be paid from financial aid.

NAU students also will have to pay a separate housing rent confirmation fee ($175). This fee may be able to be deferred to be paid from financial aid if the student has more than $6,000 in financial aid (excluding loans) for the fall semester. The office of University Housing and Residence Life can confirm eligibility at (928) 523-3978.

If a student is in need of financial assistance to pay for housing fees, the AFFCF Focus Forward Fund has a one-time category for on-campus housing deposits (up to $400). Please click below for more information and to see all of the Focus Forward Fund categories.
