$1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS ANNOUNCED!!
The MassHire Greater Brockton Workforce Board is pleased to announce a new scholarship program for graduating seniors within our Connecting Activities Partnership. From now until June 15, 2020, applications will be accepted from graduating seniors of the Class of 2020. $1,000 Scholarships will be awarded on or by June 30. Advancing college and career readiness, the Connecting Activities Partnership promotes the connection between education and employment through internships and career awareness. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2020!!!

Although this summer will be unlike any other that we can recall, MassHire Greater Brockton YouthWork's Summer Jobs Program is back! Real-world work experience is invaluable to students and young adults as they consider possible career pathways. Summer Jobs helps provide this occupational exposure for Brockton area youth, while employers guide & mentor youth and enjoy a boost in labor. It's a WIN/WIN!!!

Southeastern Advanced Manufacturing Consortium's (SAMC) organizational partners, comprised of MassHire Workforce Boards, local, state, and non-profit organizations along with other stakeholders from the SE Mass. region, Cape Cod & Islands, are committed to improving the area's advanced manufacturing workforce pipeline.

SAMC's organizational partners, with our manufacturing and educational partners, work to develop strategies, funding, and resources to provide manufacturing employers with a skilled workforce while creating sustainable living for those workers.

MassHire GBWB's Finance & Banking Training Progresses
MassHire GBWB remains committed to working with our partners to help train & retrain individuals in the local talent pipeline and put them in the best position possible to enter/re-enter the workforce. Our Finance & Banking cohort has been moving forward with trainees diligently working on the course curriculum remotely, and meeting with the proctor and MassHire staff over Zoom. With industry recognized certifications, expansive customer service training, and job readiness coaching, these individuals will be equipped to get to work soon!
