2017 Rural Arts and Culture Summit Scholarships Available
 
We've Got Early Bird Registration Scholarships
for the 

June 6-9, 2017
University of Minnesota, Morris
  

(available through 4/19/17 or until our funds run out)
 
The 2017 Rural Arts and Culture Summit will gather rural artists, arts organizations and community leaders to highlight arts-based strategies for rural community and economic development. The Summit is organized by Springboard for the Arts and the Center for Small Towns. Scholarships are made available via Region 2 Arts Council and the Forum of Regional Arts Councils.
 
To request funding, please respond to the following:
  • What form does your interest in the arts take?
  • What intrigues you about the Rural Arts and Culture Summit?
  • What would you like to gain from attendance?
  • What contributions would you like to make to your community upon return?
  • Where do you live? (Applicants eligible for this scholarship must currently reside in Beltrami, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Clearwater, and Hubbard Counties. Please give us your physical address and phone number)
  • Would you be interested in carpooling with other attendees?
  • Are you requesting Scholarship Option A or B?
Option A
$100 summit registration
+$80 for two nights shared dormitory lodging
+$15.00 for special Wednesday evening dinner
= $195.00 total
 
Option B
$100 summit registration
+$15.00 for special Wednesday evening dinner
=$115.00 (upfront)
+$80 toward overnight hotel costs (reimbursement upon return from the Summit)
=$195.00 total

Note: to be eligible for a scholarship, you must be 18 years of age or older
