Scholarships Awarded at University of Illinois
Joseph Good and Marcin Nieradka
The Trust recently presented two $5,000 scholarships to students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Marcin Nieradka received the Charles J. Berkel Memorial Scholarship and Jon Sadek received the LANGAN/Dennis J. Leary Memorial Scholarship. The awards were presented by Joseph Good, P.E., LEED AP, of LANGAN and a graduate of the university.
PA Golf Tees Off in July
Mark your calendars! Registration opens soon for the Pennsylvania Golf Outing Fundraiser on July 25 at Montour Heights Country Club in Pittsburgh. This annual fundraiser benefits the Trust’s scholarship funds at Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh.
Attention Students — Applications for Scholarships Due May 16
Applications are due next week on Monday, May 16, for the Trust’s At-Large Scholarship program, Michael L. Condon Civil Engineering Scholarship Fund, and the Goble Rausche Likins Scholarship Fund.

Are you a woman involved in the design or construction of deep foundations? If so, apply for one of the Women in Deep Foundations (WiDF) Professional Development Grants being awarded through the Trust and the DFI WiDF Committee Fund. Recipients are invited to attend DFI’s 47th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations in National Harbor, Maryland, October 4-7. Applications are due in just a few days on Monday, May 16.
