Dear Parents, Faculty, Staff and Board Members,

In light of today’s announcements by Columbus City Schools, other local school districts, and the Franklin County Public Health Department; our Strategic Planning/Finance and Medical Advisory Committees convened this evening to discuss the implications for CTA, and our plans for the 2020/21 school year. Even as a smaller private school with a large campus, these announcements are relevant to us.

As has been the case from the outset of this pandemic, the situation is ever-changing. The one constant is that that the health and safety of our students and staff has been, and remains, paramount in our planning. Our administrative staff, through the guidance of the above committees has worked hard over the last few months to ensure that we are able to deliver a variety of flexible, safe and robust options, given the uncertain situation.

We are conscious of everyone’s desire to plan with some certainty, however any plan that we implement, will require some flexibility. Even though we are dependent, in some cases, on circumstances that may be beyond our control, our objective is be able to pivot quickly, when required, to continue to deliver a quality education and learning environments.

We will continue to update you as things develop. In any event, we plan to have our Town Hall Meeting, as scheduled, Wednesday August 5th at 8 pm via Zoom login at

Have a nice evening,

Dr. Bob Wolf
Board President
