Saving Grace For Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on a district team that supports students and staff mental well-being. 

The Future Looks Bright Six SPS seniors were among 400 students across the U.S. to receive $40,000 Amazon Future Engineer Scholarships. 

Putting in the Work Principals from West Seattle Elementary and Nathan Hale High School were honored for their commitment to racial equity and educational justice. 

I Saw the Sign TOPS K-8 and Roosevelt High School are the only schools in the district that offer American Sign Language courses. 

A WHOLE Lotta College Tours Students in the WHOLE Mentoring program spent their spring break touring historically Black colleges and universities. 

Get On Your Bikes and Ride Schools are celebrating National Bike Month by organizing daily bike and walking bus groups. 

We Are the Champions! Partnership with Special Olympics Washington will bring Unified Champion Schools program to all SPS students.

You Can Sit With Us The Health Education Department is hosting its annual K-12 LGBTQ+ Families Dinner on May 6. 

In Remembrance There will be no school on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. The district office will also be closed for the holiday.  

Last Chance to Make a Choice The deadline to submit a School Choice application for the 2023-24 school year is May 31.   

Get Ready to Return Student Devices At the end of the school year, SPS devices (laptops, chargers, and Wi-Fi hotspots) need to be returned to schools.  

Save the Date Check the schedule for the Class of 2023 commencement ceremonies to see high school graduation dates.   

A Night at the Museum Naramore’s Teen Night Out is Friday, May 5. There’s still time to see the works of art by SPS students. 

Summer Music is Back! The Summer Music Program is a way for students to continue their music learning during the summer months.
