WW (WeightWatchers)
Live the life you love, lose the weight you want.
Tired of fad diets, bland food and deprivation? Our wellness partner, WeightWatchers®, has what you need. Its science-backed program focuses on coaching, community and eating everything you enjoy. The best part? The program is designed to help you lose weight without physical activity, but regularly moving your body can lead to even more success.
Try these 3 tips to make movement work for you!
-
Expand your definition. Gardening, dancing, strolling around your fave store - it all counts toward your goals.
-
Pair it with something you love. Meh about the treadmill, but love true-crime podcasts? Save new episodes for when you can fit in a walk.
-
Turn it into a social event. Catch up with your BFF (best friend forever) on a bike ride or after yoga class. Or stream the same at-home workout, then dish about how it went.
All benefit eligible employees and spouses, as well as medical plan enrolled retirees and retiree spouses are eligible to join WeightWatchers at a discounted rate and 50% subsidy. Join WW for as low as $8.05 per month! Sign up by 4/30 and get a free WW Mystery Box! What’s inside? That's a secret until you become a member, but we gave you a major hint with our get-moving tips! Learn more at WW.com/LBUSD.
Also! Join WeightWatchers on Tuesday, March 28 as Allison Grupski, Ph.D., vice president, Behavior Change Strategies & Coaching at WeightWatchers, and Coach Sophie W. discuss emotional eating and share strategies to manage those situations. Click here to register!
