Board Places Measure Q Bond on Nov. 8 Ballot

LBUSD’s Board of Education unanimously approved the placement of a $1.7 billion health, safety and student achievement bond measure on the upcoming November ballot. The decision aligns with strong public support for repairing aging schools and coincides with the Board’s approval of LBUSD’s 2022 Facility Master Plan.

Strategic Planning Under Way

Help us shape the future! LBUSD will soon host events, talking sessions and focus groups to hear from students, parents, staff and community partners. The District plans to design a student and adult “portrait” and create a vision of how we imagine our students in LBUSD and in the future.

Employee Benefits

July 1, 2022 - The New Benefit Plan Has Now Begun!

As with each new plan year, any benefit limits and deductibles have reset. You can find benefit information at https://LBUSDbenefits.com and for a one-source summarized reference, view the 2022-2023 Benefits Booklet.

Additionally, there were some vendor name changes (same companies, just new names):

  1. LifeWorks, previously Morneau Shepell
  2. DeltaCare USA DHMO, previously DeltaCare PMI DHMO.
  3. EyeMed, previously Medical Eyes Services (MES)
  • While a name change with the same benefit structure, there is a new group #1036914 and you will have to contact them differently at (866) 939-3633. Prior to July 1, EyeMed mailed out new vision ID cards. You can register at eyemed.com and print a new ID card if you have not received it.

By now, whether or not you made any changes during the annual enrollment period in May, a confirmation statement should have been mailed to your home address on file. If you have not received it, please make sure that your home address is correct on your HR record by reviewing the ESS Portal.
