Dear Worcester Preparatory School Community,

As we move into Term 4, our faculty and staff continue to put forth tremendous effort in order to provide our students with high quality virtual learning while staying true to our school’s mission. Our students have done an excellent job staying positive and focused at home during the online experience. I’m grateful for our teachers who have transformed our program for distance learning and our parents for their continued support. This has all been an amazing accomplishment during an unfortunate crisis. I would also like to take this time to thank our many Worcester Prep community members who are health care workers or first responders, and all other citizens working to make a difference.

This situation continues to evolve by the day as schools across the nation struggle with decisions while considering new state laws, federal guidelines, and most importantly the safety of students.

At this time, campus will remain closed and distance learning will be extended until May 15. The athletic season has been cancelled for the remainder of the year, however, our administration team continues to develop possible scenarios for other important school events.

I assure you that every effort is being made to support our students during this crisis and continue to build upon Worcester Prep’s foundation of academic success and tradition. These are difficult times for many and you remain in our thoughts and prayers.

I hope that you and your family continue to stay safe and healthy.

Sincerely,
Michael J. Grosso III, M.Ed.
