Dear Oxbridge Parents/Guardians and Students,
The COVID-19 situation continues to escalate nationally and in our community. It is anticipated all citizens will need to continue practicing social distancing and avoid large gatherings of people for many weeks. Accordingly, Governor DeSantis announced today that all public schools will remain closed until April 15. We are extending Oxbridge's closure until at least April 15. Aligning our calendar to the public schools in this case helps allow our families with students in multiple schools to more reliably and predictably manage the current situation.
The good news is that over the last two days our transition to online learning has been a huge success, and we are well prepared to continue teaching remotely for whatever time period is necessary to keep our community safe. As we have been doing over the last week, we will continue to keep you well informed and to provide you with resources to assist you and your family with managing this difficult, unprecedented situation.
Please keep your family safe by following CDC guidelines for reducing the spread of illness and adhering to all local and national guidelines regarding social distancing. We are thankful for our strong, resilient community and for your patience as we navigate this challenge together.
