As we approach the start of the school year, we wanted to send a resource guide for information on school communications. The goal of this email is to assist our community and includes helpful information on the following:

The school maintains an online archive of emails (weekly Insiders, Insider Alerts, and other school event emails) from this school year. The emails are listed in reverse chronological order, so the most recent emails are listed at the top of the page on the Email Archive.

The email archive also contains a link to an Email Resource instructional document to assist you in safelisting emails from the school (sent via Constant Contact) in your email provider.

In addition to the published one page calendar, the school also uses Google Calendar as an online calendar resource to either view online, sync with your phone calendar, or use with the Google Calendar app. Here are some helpful resources for keeping up with the school calendar.

This help document contains information on how to sync the school’s Google Calendar with your Android or iOS device (phones or tablets). It is highly recommended to download the Google Calendar app in either Android or iOS to have the best experience in viewing the school calendar.

At the top of each weekly Insider email sent on Friday, we include a Resource section that includes links for easy navigation to our most frequently visited pages on the website (and most frequently asked for information) including links to the school Website, Calendar, Email Archive, FACTS, Faculty & Staff Directory, Handbooks, Cafeteria information, the online Spirit Store, and the Parish.

The school will notify staff and families using IRIS (Immediate Response Information System), allowing the administration to email and call constituents within minutes. For inclement weather, school delays or closures, or crisis management purposes, it is imperative that your information is always up-to-date with the School Office. Information can be updated through

FACTS ParentsWeb. Depending on access to technology, staff will also attempt to post alerts to the website, send emails through Constant Contact, and post updates on our social media pages; however, IRIS should be considered the primary mass notification protocol for emergencies. An IRIS alert test will be sent to all families in August. A reminder and more information will be sent closer to that time.
