Snoqualmie Valley Schools   Construction Update
Mount Si High School Construction Progress

The district has a busy and exciting summer ahead to prepare the new Mount Si High School to open this fall. The project remains on time and on budget, to be ready to serve students by the first day of school September 4!  As construction is finalized on the new school, other summer preparations include:
  • Moving curriculum and other items out of the existing school and into the new campus or elsewhere in the district.
  • Online Surplus Sale -- This week, the online auction for governmental entities begins today, June 25-26. The Public Online Auction is June 26-28.  Click here for details.
  • Demolition of the existing MSHS buildings. (Demolition of the gym began last week.)
  • Transfer the District Data Center to the new building.
  • Begin baseball field construction.
  • Stone column installation to prepare for Phase 2 construction. The new Performing Arts Center (PAC) will be built in the location of existing gym.
  • Make ready the existing auditorium for student access in September. Students will continue to use the existing auditorium until the new PAC is completed in December 2020, as planned.
