From Meet & Greet to Mentoring Program
Crystal Alexander, Community Engagement Associate at the Waters at St. James Apartments, coordinated an on-site meet and greet with Cyrus Birch, a stunt performer who played the role of an African warrior in the film Black Panther. He shared his life story of growing up in Charleston, and he is now offering a mentorship program called Roses in Concrete to encourage middle school and high school students to reach their full potential.
"Cyrus has donated his time and resources...what a blessing and huge investment in our kids! He has a curriculum based program, and we are just getting it up and running for the first week - big success!" Crystal said. Atlantic Housing is all about community transformation, and we look forward to seeing the impact of this on-site partnership.
