2019 SECME Olympiad
More than 900 students from 28 elementary schools participated in the Elementary SECME Olympiad. SECME stands for Science, Engineering, Communication, Mathematics and Enrichment. Students competed in events such as Water Bottle Rockets and Mousetrap Car. Individual SECME clubs are organized and managed on a school-by-school basis, so if you're interested, check with your school to see how you can get involved!

Conniston Middle Earns AVID Distinction
Conniston Middle is the first in the School District of Palm Beach County to be awarded the title of AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) National Demonstration School.
District Names 2019 School-Related Employee of the Year
The Principal Secretary at Loxahatchee Grove's Elementary, Annette Blanco, is now Palm Beach County's 2019 School-Related Employee of the Year.
