The School District of Palm Beach County and Braman Motorcars teamed up during National Teacher Appreciation Week to celebrate the District’s Teacher of the Year and School-Related Employee of the Year, as well as nominees for the awards, with a first-ever reception for winners and nominees on Thursday, May 11,  at Braman’s state-of-the-art BMW showroom in West Palm Beach.

Oakland Raider Walford Partners With Rosenwald Elementary School To Help Students Prevent The Summer Slide

Students at Rosenwald Elementary School are ready to “Beat the Summer Slide” thanks to  NFL tight end Clive Walford who was there to encourage them and provide a backpack to every student during an end-of-year event at the school.

Walford, who currently plays for the Oakland Raiders and played for the University of Miami, is a former Rosenwald Elementary School student. Learn more

District Students Make Their Mark At International Science Fair

Four District students recently participated in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.

They were among the approximately 1,800 high school students from more than 75 countries, regions, and territories who were given the opportunity to showcase their independent research and compete for $4 million in prizes. Learn more
