New Leadership Announcement

On January 1, 2024, Drs. Julie Gettman and Chris Bedford will be taking over future operations of the school neuropsychology continuing education programs. They have formed a new organization called the School Neuropsychology Institute, which will assume management and delivery of the continuing education programming previously developed and administered by my company, KIDS. Inc.

I originally established KIDS, Inc. in 1986, to provide school districts with a kindergarten screening test I had co-developed. In 2000, the company shifted focus to become the national leader for competency-based training in school neuropsychology. I’m proud to have been involved in the training of thousands of school neuropsychologists and feel very fortunate to have worked with the leading experts over past 23 years to help “push the field forward.”

I am delighted that Drs. Gettman and Bedford will be taking the lead now to continue advancing school neuropsychology, and I have every confidence they will enhance the field for years to come. They have worked with me for several years, and I know they are committed to maintaining the high quality of continuing education trainings that you’ve come to expect from KIDS, Inc.

Very little will change from your vantage point. You can continue to access training programs and other resources at www.schoolneuropsych.com, and in mid-January, you will find a new and improved website that will feature improvements to your user experience. This will be one of the first steps to enhancing your learning opportunities. For questions, suggestions, ideas, or concerns, please contact Dr. Julie Gettman, Executive Director of the School Neuropsychology Institute, at drgettman@schoolneuropsych.com

Sincerely,

Dr. Daniel C. Miller
