Dear OLOL Families,

One of our busiest weeks is less than two weeks away. Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is January 29th - February 4th. The full calendar is attached below. I would like to highlight a few events:

• This year we are actually kicking off CSW a night early. OLOL is participating in the Green Bay Gamblers Dash for Cash on Saturday, January 28th. OLOL will receive $3.00 from every ticket sold. If you like hockey and looking for something to do, please consider coming to the game. At the first intermission, I will try to scoop up as much cash as I can. Tickets need to be purchased by this Friday.
• I would love to see every student and family at the 10:15 Mass on Sunday, January 29th. This is our way to say thank you to OLOL Parish for all of their prayerful and financial support. If your child is interested in one of the liturgical parts, please see the Sign-up Genius to sign-up. We also want a full choir.
• Following Mass, the teachers will be serving a pancake breakfast to thank our families for enrolling their children at OLOL. This is also a great opportunity to build community which plays a pivotal role in educating our students.
• The week comes to a close with the annual OLOL Family Dance at the Green Bay Distillery on Friday night. Please see the flier below to purchase your ticket. This is a great event to wrap-up what Catholic education is all about.

This past Monday all of the GRACE teachers met at OLOL. The morning was with Dr. Warren Johnson on how faith and science are connected. Our hope is that your children will come home and be able to share what we learned. In the afternoon we heard a presentation by Mother Mary Catherine. Sister shared with us how Jesus wants and yearns for a relationship with us. He loves us so much and we tend to forget how much He loves us and all that He will do for us. We need to set aside time to talk with God each day and foster that strong relationship. If we do this so much anxiety and pressure will be removed from us. He seeks to dwell in us. We need to have the conviction to let Him come into us.
